Here are some extracts from the Motive Power section that are very informative about the type of locos present on this line, and more than likely seen at Pocklington. One thing to bear in mind is that any references to coastal trains aren't relevent to Pocklington as the Selby Driffield line which took coastal traffic as it made its way to Bridlington and Scarborough only intersected with the York - Beverley route at Market Weighton.
